My name is Carol. I am a mom, wife and small town medical provider. Our family is committed to following the Lord as He leads us. We come from Methodist, Mennonite, Messianic Gentile and other Christian experiences. Ours is a mismatched, odd-looking faith, but meaningful to us as we strive to follow the Spirit's lead. Our arms are open to all with love and acceptance. Our family is not a neat cookie cutter anything, and our life looks messy most of the time, but we struggle on with hope.

Backdoor visitor on a balmy January day
I'll admit that "balmy" here today was 35, but I'll take it!
Now that is a visitor! Glad you are warming up a bit. The 30's seem warm to me too now as we've been in the teens for a week. We are supposed to warm up today.

LOL, I LOVE IT. What a fun visitor!!! It looks rather young. Maybe you will have to start feeding it? teehe
That looks like a fun visitor. I bet 35 is balmy for you. :)

How cool is that! I'd be a bit afraid too ...hehe!
We had a moose just off our deck this morning, but that is a cool picture. He is so close.
Great shots of it! I would be a bit scared, but I think it also would be a cool thing to experience.
Oh, my goodness!!! How funny! I would have been freaked out, I think. : )
Great pictures! Be careful with moose right outside your windows. They've been known to break windows when they see their reflection.
Whoa...that is absolutely wild! I've heard that moose are not too friendly...do be careful!
